Mbc Plus’ “all the k-pop” is now available on Dailymotion


With K-pop continuously riding high in the global content market, Korea is one of the key markets that Dailymotion has been focusing on. With this content partnership agreement signed with Korea’s leading TV broadcasting company, MBC PLUS, Dailymotion will strengthen its K-pop content catalog by showcasing the well-known ALL THE K-POP’ LIVE on its .

Seoul, South Korea – Dailymotion and MBC PLUS, Korea’s leading TV broadcasting company,  operating six different television channels, such as MBC Every1 and MBC Music, have officially announced their partnership. Under the agreement, MBC PLUS will live stream ‘ALL THE K-POP’, MBC PLUS’s K-pop entertainment channel on Dailymotion.

Under the motto, “Online Only Channel”, MBC PLUS has launched “ALL THE K-POP” as a K-pop entertainment channel that streams online and for mobile phones 24/7. According to MBC PLUS’ Tae Sung Kim, Managing Director for Global & Content Business Department, “ALL THE K-POP is an online and mobile exclusive channel which brings K-pop entertainment content to global audiences 24/7. This online channel is optimized for a new generation of users, whose viewing patterns are focused on internet platforms, especially mobile devices. ”  Among these users, short, bite-sized videos instead of the lengthier 30-minute or hour-long formats are preferred. MBC Plus has broke out of the mold.


Dailymotion, a part of the worldwide multimedia group Vivendi since 2015, is currently focusing on its catalog of premium music content in Asia. Antoine Nazaret, Head of Content for Asia said: “Music is a clear category we’d like to actively pursue. Our new partnership with MBC Plus will not only add to the music catalog, but provide richer video content for the audience through the live stream at any part of the world, anytime.”

To date, Dailymotion has more than 3.5 billion views and 300 million unique viewers per month, with a strong presence in Europe. MBC PLUS’ Tae Sung Kim, Head of Business Center added, “I am pleased that MBC PLUS can introduce various entertaining K-pop content to European audiences with this new partnership with Dailymotion, which is the largest European video platform. MBC PLUS will try our best to pave the way for a new content silk road connecting Europe and Asia with Dailymotion.

In the coming weeks, global K-pop fans could expect to see K-pop content 24/7 on Dailymotion through MBC PLUS’ ‘ALL THE K-POP’ channel(www.dailymotion.com/allthekpop) and more.
