Elysium via FanReviews
This is going to sound like I’m the Most Interesting Man in the World Dude from those Dos Equis commercials, but I’m not a guy who gets excited very often, but when I do… I LOSE MY MIND. Now, I saw the trailers for Tom Cruise’s Oblivion and Will Smith’s After Earth. I thought eh, they look cool, maybe I’ll check out those crazy Scientologists in the theater or maybe I’ll just wait ’til Netflix. There is no doubt I will be the first dude in the theater when Elysium releases. This blows the other two out of the universe.

For some reason, I can’t picture Thor behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car, but judging from this trailer, he pulls it off. For my money, the greatest F1 movie of all-time is still Freejack…
Carrie via FanReviews
I really hope Chloe Grace Moretz grows up to be a relatively normal, well-adjusted individual. She’s seen and been through more wacky crap than any young girl should ever have to experience in a lifetime. What’s not so funny about movies like this is they’re targeted to teens and they’re supposed to have a message like hey, stop bullying and teens go out in droves to see this movie and yet, we still have bullying. Like, it’s going to take a real-life Carrie for this ‘ish to start to slow down. Not stop. Start to maybe slow down. Ridiculous. Soap box over.
Side-note: When Julianne Moore goes, “They’re all gonna laugh at you” all I could think about was Adam Sandler.
The Great Gatsby via Teaser-Trailer
I wasn’t too keen on this originally since I never read the book in school. Yeah, I know, whatever. But you can only take so much Leo in extravagant, luxurious settings before you cave.
Now You See Me Trailer #2 via FanReviews
I’ve never really been a fan of magic or magicians. Sure, I dragged my dad to see one at Disney World every day for a week when I was six. I was six, come on. But now I enjoy the videos that poke fun at David Blaine. I didn’t catch Burt Wonderstone. I’d say the one magician movie I liked was The Prestige (Christopher Nolan, you magnificent creature). Not sure I can take this film starring Woody, Eisenberg, Freeman, Caine, and Fisher seriously.
Manhunt: Search for Bin Laden via HBO
Spoiler alert – we got him.
Behind The Candelabra via HBO
Michael Douglas as Liberace? This should be interesting.
