“Avan Lava – It’s Never Over… Chipmunkified” by Eclectic Method

Avan Lava describe themselves as “New York City’s freshest Super-Pop act to come out since Madonna”. The band is TC (vox), Ian Pai, and Le Chev, with additional live performers Andrew Schneider, Drew Citron and Jo Lampert.

They have made official remixes for R.E.M., Passion Pit and NewVillager among others. Now, master video remixer Eclectic Method “chipmunkifies” their song ‘It’s Never Over’. Alllllllllllviiiiiiiiiin!!!!

Avan Lava is supposed to release their debut full-length record sometime in 2013.

“Stay” by Rihanna featuring Mikky Ekko via CineStars

The video was directed by Sophie Muller, a British music video director who is noted for her long-time collaborations with artists like No Doubt, Sade, Shakira, Garbage, The Killers, Blur, Annie Lennox and Eurythmics.

“Funky ****” by Travis Barker & Yelawolf via The Orchard

This is a track from their collaborative EP titled, Psycho White, which released November 13th, 2012. Yelawolf also has another collabo with Big K.R.I.T and a studio album coming out this year.

“Headphones” by Mounties

This is a tribute to classic 70/80s childhood programming. A trippy mix of Mr Rogers, Sesame Street, and skeletons, which aren’t so scary when they’re completely cleaned of flesh, hair, and blood.

“Treehouse (Live at Sing Sing)” by Gold Fields

We thought Gold Fields’ official music video for Treehouse should’ve been nominated for an MTV VMA back in September and we declared the band one of 13 acts to watch in 2013, so to say we’re “in like” with them would be an understatement. Even the video for a live performance is firecracker, Jack.

“Community Girl” by Mizu Flamez via Blastro Networks

Loosely put, I believe a “Community Girl” is a very loose, casual girl who frequently (freak-ently?) enjoys freaking between the sheets. And Mizu appears to be cool with women of that ilk. I am, too, until they actually hit on me. Then, I manage to make them hate fornication.
