It’s Super Bowl weekend and while that means beer, wings and Ray Lewis totally owning dudes — it also means some of the most high-quality advertisements of the year. Whether it’s the Budweiser frogs, Terry Tate: Office Linebacker or Kate Upton’s boobs, the commercials are just as entertaining as the game. With that in mind, let’s look back at some of the best Super Bowl ads.

It’s Halftime In America – Chrysler (2012)

2012 was a rough year for politics. In this Chrysler ad, Clint Eastwood talks about the TRUE GRIT OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE instead of making a biased political statement. Other than a vague reference to Detroit it didn’t have much to do with actual Chrysler vehicles but it’s still awesome. I wish Clint Eastwood would give me a pep talk like this every time I woke up in the morning.

Best Fans Ever – NFL (2011)

It’s rare the NFL does something besides fine players for celebration dances or sue people for copyright infringement, but in 2011 they made this touching supercut of football-related sitcom clips.

Wassup – Budweiser (2000)

While this ad started what was arguably the most annoying fad of all-time, it’s still one of the most iconic Super Bowl spots.

1984 – Apple (1984)

Twenty-five years before the iPhone, Apple promised to single-handedly prevent a future “Big Brother” society with Macintosh.

Ferris Bueller – Honda (2012)

Last year Matthew Broderick reprised his role as Ferris Bueller in this adorable Honda ad.
