7 Videos To Prep You For The End of the World

So, this is the third end of the world ‘scare’ we’ve had in the past 2 years. “Dr.” Harold Camping first predicted it would happen in May 2011 then when he woke up the next day, he claimed there was a smudge on his crystal ball and that the actual date would be October 2011. That passed as well (as did Harold Camping, RIP?), and now we’re left with what the Mayans ‘predicted’.
Of course, the Mayans didn’t predict Jack Squat, they just got fed up with creating a never-ending calendar and Friday, December 21st 2012 was the date they quit on. So, hopefully, you’re not one of those nutjobs who sells all their belongings and buries themselves 20,000 leagues under the Earth’s surface in a giant metal ball. Instead, we hope you embrace the rapture with these helpful videos of what to expect. See ya in Hell, suckers!
1. “The Apocamix” by Eclectic Method
If we’re going down in flames, I’m hoping there’s a sick DJ there spinning like mad and dropping beats while all of humanity drops a giant pantload.
2. “Apocalypse” Supercut by Zach Prewitt
We featured this video before but you guys are forgetful, so here it is again. You know you’re officially a genre when someone makes a supercut dedicated to you. Zach took clips from 99 different world-ending cinematic adventures to create this catastrophic masterpiece. I’m surprised the guy didn’t move to Mars after watching 300+ hours of crap blowing up.
3. Top 10 Things That Could End The World
Well, at least we can cross Kim Jong-Il off the list… or CAN WE?!?!?
4. ‘Armageddon’ Is Unrealistic
They would’ve needed a bomb 2 trillion times more powerful. So, instead they recommend we send a spaceship up to dry-hump the space rock and coddle it into forgetting its death wish and missing us completely. FRICKIN’ SCIENTISTS ARE HIPPIES!
5. Will It Be Aliens?
Not to sound like a raving lunatic, but aliens exist. Will they be our demise? I gotta think the odds of them ravaging us for our resources is not too far-fetched. They probably haven’t invaded yet because they’re too weirded out by our fetishes. That and they saw ‘Signs’, which alerted them to our stategery. Thanks, M. Night. Dynamite job.
6. Will It Be Zombies?
It’s disturbing how much people love zombies. I’ve seen maybe 3-5 zombie movies in my lifetime and I don’t really need to see more. I get it. Are diehard zombie fans scared of dying and are pumped there’s a possibility of being undead? Being undead still sucks, brains taste like crap (although, a nice marinade goes a long way).
7. Will It Be Cybernetic Organisms?
Next to aliens, this is the most realistic scenario for doomsday. People are building robots left and right. We avoided Y2k, but it was probably because John Connor came to the rescue. SkyNet’s just waitin’. They’ve got time.
