5 Holiday Gift Ideas For Guys

I know I said women could be difficult to buy for, but selecting gifts for men is no easy task either. You can only get him socks and boxers so many times, am I right? From ties to tickets, there are plenty of men’s holiday gift ideas in our guide to help you sort through the madness.
1. Fitness Items
If I could count how many times I’ve heard guys mentioning their workouts on Facebook, I’d be a millionaire. We get it. You’re healthy and want the world to know.
If your dude is one of these guys, first of all, I’m sorry. And secondly, why don’t you take a stroll down obvious lane and buy him something for the gym. Under Armour makes great workout products (and look fantastic on the right shape.) Or you could go the hi-tech route, and get him a sick fitness gadget like the Nike+ FuelBand.
2. Outerwear / Accessories
I’m a big fan of men in nice scarves. I don’t know what it is, but when I see a gorgeous man in a flimsy, thin scarf, he loses all sex appeal. I mean – come on, dude, why bother with that beautiful coat when you muck it up with a pansy neck tissue? Ugh. I recommend cashmere or a wool blends for the right look.
Check All Saints and Billy Reid. You can do no wrong at either shop. Hands down – they rule for hot menswear.
3. Headphones
A good pair of headphones is essential for many reasons. You need them to tune out distractions on long flights, sleepy commutes on the subway and side conversations by your office. So, if your guy already owns a set by Bose or Dr. Dre, maybe skip to the other gift ideas. But if not, check out the links below.
4. Watches / Jewelry
A little arm candy never hurt anybody. Whether it’s a brand new Rolex or full-on arm party a la Man Repeller, (hey ladies!) a little wrist love makes the world go ‘round. That’s why I’m recommending a watch for your man, your moon. (Bonus point if you know this song reference.) For the form and function minded, check Nixon. How sick is this one? And this one? Gah. Get it girl, he deserves it.

5. Concert / Game Tickets
And when all else fails, there is always this trusty trick – tickets to his favorite band or sports team’s game. In all honesty, this isn’t that sweet of a gift because more than likely he’d buy it for himself if he was super into it, but he’ll be flattered regardless just because you remembered his favorite band / team. So, how to make it even more special? Buy a handful of tickets and tell him to bring the guys and not you. Believe me, he’d really prefer that anyway.
