Sameh is our beloved System Architect here at Dailymotion US. He basically works on the backend of the site to make sure our search function is top notch.

Sameh is another one of our French transplants; he is a born and raised Parisian and has a certain street swag about him. He received his Computer Science degree from Paris-Sud (where he was class president, of course) and went on to work at Club Internet and later, started his own company. He then worked for three years at the Dailymotion Paris office before coming here to help us with our site’s performance optimization.

 

Sameh has been with us for seven months now and loves the city passionately. His favorite part? “The people here are amazing. New Yorkers know how to make you feel at home very quickly.”

 

He is also a huge fan of the food. He has quite the sweet tooth (Cheesecake-addict) and New York is doing a great job of giving him toothaches-galore.

 

Sameh’s interests change from day to day. Yesterday it was ice skating, tomorrow it will be Frisbee. He’s also a big TV fan; his favorites include Curb Your Enthusiasm, Extras and The Office. When he’s feeling like a badass he loves watching Oz and The Wire.

Unrelated fact worth mentioning: Sameh, a System Architect who knows our site like the back of his hand, locked himself out of his own Facebook account through an inadvertent privacy setting change.

 

We’re all super proud of him.
