Stepping out of the Box

We are happy to announce some improvements to the video, user, and group browsing features. A sidebar menu has been added, making it easier to navigate through your Favorites, Playlists, Groups, and Friends.
Search results and channels are now displayed in an updated “grid” format, with more videos on each page. In addition, we have added the option to view them in a more detailed “list” layout. The video items themselves have changed slightly - there is now a small “speech bubble” in the upper left of each thumbnail indicating the language of the video (please keep in mind that we can’t guarantee the accuracy of user-generated metadata).
On the right hand side of these pages you’ll see three rectangular images under “Features & Partners”. Our content team will be using these spaces to let you know about new features, partnerships, and special events.
We hope you like these changes as much as we do. As usual, please give us any feedback - bug reports, praise, suggestions - in the comments here or via feedback@dailymotion.com.

Woot! Good work guys!
1 August 2008 à 3:44 am
Don’t really care for the new format…Seems alot of videos are gone.
1 August 2008 à 11:32 am
Yes! A lot of videos are gone!! Why????
1 August 2008 à 8:41 pm
What happened to all the vidoes?
2 August 2008 à 1:24 pm
Why are all the playlists empty and will they be restored?
3 August 2008 à 4:46 am
What happened to all the videos in the playlists? Why does my profile say I have “0″ public videos, when I have twenty-something? When will the missing playlists be restored? What is going on????
3 August 2008 à 10:03 am
I’m also finding that both mine and others’ playlists and favorites have been virtually emptied out, even though the “Number of videos” is still showing the number of videos that were there before. Have many of the videos been expunged, or is this an issue with the server not processing search/playlist queries correctly?
3 August 2008 à 7:58 pm
Everything is empty wtf?
4 August 2008 à 12:21 pm
Where are all the videos in the playlists? Also the number of videos uploaded is wrong. What’s happening?! I think you need to post something on the blog asap as a lot of people are getting fed up with no feedback.
4 August 2008 à 2:42 pm
I haven’t getting any search results for quite a few days. The page appears blank! Even the playlists that show 200 videos comes up with just barely 10. And now even videos stopped working!
What’s going on?
4 August 2008 à 3:08 pm
I’m having the problem with the playlists too. You click on one thats says it has 100 videos in it and when it opens there’s only 3 videos in it. What’s going on?
5 August 2008 à 6:37 am
Please fix the playlist!!!
5 August 2008 à 7:34 am
The hell happened?
5 August 2008 à 3:07 pm
This problem with the playlists seems to date to your upgrade; is there anyone from DailyMotion monitoring this blog?
5 August 2008 à 10:45 pm
what ya expect from france
23 August 2008 à 5:59 am
So what happened to Dailymotion? It doesn’t work with older versions of Safari anymore. Which is really pretty weak. Youtube had that problem a few months back…but they very quickly fixed it. Dailymotion seems a little second rate in the technology at times (though you do have better videos to be found).
2 September 2008 à 9:19 am
Hello all,
- Is the bug fixed for the playlist ?
- Paul, which version of Safari are you using and what is not exactly working ?

I have asked for someone to sort out my problem as I can prove that the account in question belongs to me.

It is 32 days since I made a complaint. I have sent 301 emails so far.
I have asked for someone out of 120 employees, to take responsibility and investigate my complaint as I can prove that the account melonooo belongs to me and me alone. I have over 4000 friends and I don’t want to loose all my messages. My account has been given to someone else, with a different email address from the email address I have used for the past year melon666@fsmail.net and now has access to my personal details. How is it that new friends are being accepted without my agreement? All the evidence is there for you to see. I have proved that you have sent notifications for account melonooo to my email address melon666@fsmail.net
I have now been told that Dailymotion will ignore my complaint and any questions from now on. Why do you refuse to abide by your own rules as stated below?
