Inbox: Under Repair
You may have noticed something missing up in the right corner of the header - the Inbox. Unfortunately, the Inbox has been having some issues recently, so we have had to temporarily take it off the site. It’s in the shop now, and the mechanics tell us it should be running smoothly, back where you normally find it, and with all your old messages, by early next week. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

everytime I try to accessone of the “adult” videos posted, I have to click on “accept” to watch it - unfortunately, everytime I click on “accept” I get redirected once again to the same webpage, where I have to click on “accept” and so forth. It’s a loop

One E-mail came through allright, so far; messages, also. Still cannot upload, though. I’m uploading, like before. But, nothing happens. Was wondering if there was something different, in the uploading process or whether Daily Motion is experiencing some uploading difficulties. Thanks for all your help.

I don’t know, Legendaryu2k.The same is happening to my webpage. I click the browse button and the clip box may show up or it may not, in the upper left hand corner. And when I choose the clip, the clip won’t show up in the uploading box, to upload.
I’ve contacted daily motion, about the problem. Daily Motion has had various problems, this past week. Many webpages were slowed down and effected by different difficulties. My e-mail and messages finally got straightened out, recently. Patience is probably the best thing, we can do. Just keep trying to upload and hoping Daily Motion gets this straightened out.
Also, you might write Daily Motion and explain to them, what is going on with your webpage. Tell DM, you’re not the only webpage experiencing these uploading problems. They might act quicker.

I already sent them 3 emails, about the uploading problem and about how my page , the videos are laid out wrong, some are going downward and some are not showing up. They haven’t got back to me, they never do anyway lol. I have been asking them to delete a video page that i use to use and its been over a year and its still up.
They seem to get fix their problems, even tho it may take a while, but their techsupport kinda sucks. Its like invisible people run this site or something haha.
ANyway, i will just wait. I need to work on my website anyway, trying to finish up. So i will check back in about 2 weeks and see if the problem is fix.

Dailymotion if you are reading this , we are having trouble uploading, when i click on the browse button, nothing happens. I can click on this part:
If you want to post your video to a group, select it:
That works fine, but i clicking on the browse button nothing happens. Now when the page is loading up, i can click on the browse button, but when i select a file, the file disappears.

I have the very same problem as legendaryu2k, daily motion. the browse button hardly ever works, for me. even when I do manage to get the browse button to work (which is seldom), I cannot load the clip. I’ll click the clip I want to upload and it will not load, in the white up-loading box.

You know what, i’m just going to finish up my website and in a few weeks, this site will get back to normal. But also, it seems to be only a few people having problems with this, i was thinking about reinstalling windows, but i have too much important stuff on my computer at the time.
I thought it was a browser problem, i’m using seamonkey, i tried IE, i tried Firefox, and other and nothing. I also thought i had spyware or trojan, but i scan my computer and nothing shows up.
So something happen with dailymotion, it has to be a problem on their end. This wasn’t going on about 2 or 3 months ago from what i believe.
I also notice when i click on my page, the videos are not line up correctly, i think dailymotion is having problems, they might need to redone their site layout, who knows.
I will check back in a few weeks, i hope by then somebody can fix it. I been with dailymotion for years, its even better then youtube, so i really don’t want to leave.

Hi, I have problems with friend requests. When i go into my Inbox, it says ” Friends requests (37)” on the left menu. However none are listed on the right side, it says “You don’t have any friend requests” and i know the number (37) on the left is not a false alarm or something like that because i received a notification email for each request. I hope these problems will be addressed soon.

LOL, i don’t believe they even care anymore. I still haven’t heard anything from them. They said my email address is not working so they cant reply back to me, well they can reply back here and explain to everyone what is going on or better yet, post a new blog to explain to everyone that some users are having trouble uploading.
I tend to check to see if the problem is fix every now and then, but if the problem is not solve by the time my website is finish, i’m leaving dailymotion.
I also ask them to delete a whole video collection of mine, they still haven’t done it.
So dailymotion if you are reading this, please look into whatever is going on.

Alright, the problem is not with Dailymotion, its with the browser. I just downloaded Mozilla Suite 1.5, and i have no problem clicking on the download button.
So my question, what the hell happen with Seamonkey and Firefox and other updated browser?????????????
The problem now even tho using the old 1.5 mozilla version works, it doesn’t look right on dailymotion, the old browser is really unstable. So now i guess i will just figure out what to do.

I have never experienced the upload problem, but the “Friend Requests” still persists. I have tried it on two WinXP and one Vista installations using the latest versions of Firefox, Opera, IE6 (on XP) and IE7 (on Vista) but still no luck.
Legendaryu2k, i am gonna install the MS 1.5 on one of my test PC’s to see if it makes any difference with my problem. I hope it helps, i’m up to +60 friends request LOL.

But, I am having trouble with the uploading and friends requests. I just heard from Daily Motion. DM says my uploading problems, are probably my flash media. Needs to be updated to flash 9. I don’t believe this is the solution, because i’ve uploaded several clips on this current flash media, without any difficulties. But, I have to try something.

My browser in my avatar, is working fine. But, my browser in the uploader, isn’t. So, the browser has nothing do with it. If it did, both browsers would be messed up. Not, just the one…lol

When i try open with Opera i get the message technical difficulties have prevented this video from loading. I try with firefox and the videos just wont load. whats wrong?

I have been having this problem for ever. I have never been able to play videos on dailymotin due this “Technical Difficulties”. I thought in the beginning that my computer was the problem. But when I tried dailymotion on my laptop I got the same bloody message. Not only that, it also did not work even after format. I am now CERTAIN that dailymotion is the problem!

Home does not display properly for me. Only the menu bar at the top shows and also the picture of the first video. The rest of the page is blank. Same when I click on videos or search for a video. The pages are all white and come up with nothing but the menu at the top. A few weeks ago this was working absolutely fine. Channels etc is ok. When searching for a video in google I can get here and watch the video. I downloaded Firefox but that didn’t solve the problem. I also changed some IE settings but again, that didn’t solve the problem.
I urgently need help, contacted Dailymotion 4 times already and nobody got in touch with me.

ok regarding the “technical difficulties I found a temporary solution. I downloaded Ultra surf 8.9 version and it works but only to internet explorer. the internet connection will become a little slower but if you need to watch your videos very importantly then use ultrasurf. Dailymotion Customer care help us with this. there is definitely a bug in your system.

same problem here - technical difficulties please reload the page. Reloading does not help, different browser do not help, updating Flash Player does not help. BUT some of the videos do work. Well at least the one on the main page.

did anybody manage the “technical difficulties” problem, i hve this for almost a week… for months I’ve been watching videos and now they don’t load anymore. (I can watch videos in every other places such as youtube)

Almost nothing seems to be working on Dailymotion for the last two days. No video is playing, I keep getting the same message “Reload Page”, page cannot be loaded due to technical difficulties. When I try to login, I click on the button and nothing happens!
Besides, everything has gotten soooo slow, moving at snail’s pace. Seems like Dailymotion is stoned.
Please do something. Dailymotion used to be a great service and I switched from YouTube because of it.
