Use your webcam to upload avatars
We recently added an “Avatar Webcam Upload” function to the site, which lets you take a photo with your webcam and use it as your profile avatar.
All you have to do is:
- plug in your webcam
- strike a pose
- click “Shoot”, and
- click “Save” to publish your new avatar
You can access the new function by clicking the “my account” tab on the navigation bar within “my profile”, and then accessing the “Avatar” section from the account settings sidebar.
Enjoy!

Maybe you’d like to know that the sign that one of the guys does (2 fingers up) is actually very offensive to British people, and means “F**k you!” and other equivalents… You might want to think about better choosing the pictures you display on the official blog…

It is 35 days since I made a complaint. I have sent 351 emails so far.
I have asked for someone out of 120 employees, to take responsibility and investigate my complaint as I can prove that the account melonooo belongs to me and me alone. I have over 4000 friends and I don’t want to loose all my messages. My account has been given to someone else, with a different email address from the email address I have used for the past year melon666@fsmail.net and now has access to my personal details. How is it that new friends are being accepted without my agreement? All the evidence is there for you to see. I have proved that you have sent notifications for account melonooo to my email address melon666@fsmail.net
I have now been told that Dailymotion will ignore my complaint and any questions from now on. Why do you refuse to abide by your own rules as stated below?

It seems that the policy of Dailymotion is to ignore all legitimate communications until the account member gives up. I am not going to give up.
